Whew. I finally got my submission sent to Knitscene’s Winter ‘08/Spring ‘09 issue. So glad to get that out of the way. All I’ve been doing for the past week is sending a ton of submissions to magazines. I still have a few to go. I’m hanging on to my sanity by a very thin thread. On top of the mag submissions I am playing the roll of a zoo keeper (not really but that’s what it feels like) taking care of my dog, by mom’s cats, and the new kittens that my brother’s cat just had. I have to keep them from tearing up everything in the house (this is a rather difficult task because they seem hell-bent on destroying everything in my studio).
Mother of monkeys! There aren’t enough hours in the day. I’m kidding (well partially kidding) it’s not that bad. But things have been pretty wild.
